well, today's tuesday, and i got back 2 of my EOY results. Chinese, Math.
chinese - D7. i failed. by 1.25 marks ONEPOINTTWOFIVE. i dont effing believe it. AAHHH i COULD have passed HIGHER CHINESE!!!! someone please, slap me. :'((
math - A2. i suck. and ppl were grumbling about their "low" A1s? please, join the club!

23rd Sept, SHE WENT TO ZOUK. for Miss Earth Coronation Night. ...err... the girls CMI... other than Ms Earth Intl... but I WENT TO ZOUK and tried their shirley temple... and met my mom's friend, who thought i was 17 :DDDD Damn, i wanna go clubbing. can't wait till i reach the age limit man...

26th Sept, SMS Math Olympiad prize presentation --- i got bronze :DD

Between that and the exams, someone called the homework in on us... talk about cramming before an exam man.

1st Exam - Eng Compo. When Ms Ng was collecting the ppr, i started imagining what would happen if i started laughing during an exam and it was so funny i started laughing HAHAHAHAH Zhi thought i was laughing at her hair... there was nothing wrong with her hair.

Chinese compo - errrr... let's just say chinese bored me so much i fell asleep immediately after finishing my compo :XX

LA - ohkay i guess... nothing special right?

Math - ohkay i guess.... OH YEAH, POOR ZHI LIN!!! chicken pox made her miss all the rest of the exams starting fm math... sighhhh

10th October - Went out with XY, Lex and Daniel.
- XY came over...err dunno why 0:-D
- Went to KAP, XY told me abt some army guys looking at err me... hehe i'm hot *EGO* haha!
- Met Daniel outside KAP, took cab to Far East Plaza... Lex was going to be killed by XY for being so damn late... not to mention by me too :P
- XY and I were SO crapping in the cab lah, we were being SO ego and hyper HAHAHA
- @ Far east, XY bought earrings... then led us to the wrong side of the road for the bus... We decided, It's best never to trust XY and her *cough* lousy *cough* (0:-D) sense of directions...
- Went to Wheelock place and walked around aimlessly, again, never trust XY and her sense of directions, I had to lead us back to orchard mrt :PPP
- Lex was still at Harbour front... we were, or rather, my n XY were like, WHAT THE???? we were supposed to meet an hour ago... diao...
- [s]Famous[/s] quote: "What's a Heeren?" HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAH XY n I were laughing our heads off...
- Went to Wisma Atria... had lunch at foodrep. I AM NOT A SLOW EATER, i was talking. a lot. with XY. the guys were being antisocial. Dialing A for Antisocial... :XXX
- Then we went around... shopping... made lex buy cookies for us...heh0:-D... and then ergg watched balls of fury... there was nothing better to watch anyway... Balls of Fury was ohkay i guess... the sex slaves were so funny and retarded... hehe, men acting sissy HAHAHAHA... but other than that, i didnt really find anything interesting about the movie... it was sorta pointless if you ask me... other than the fact that maggie q was too good for the guy.
and not to mention these [s]bastards[/s]despos sitting behind us making so much noise... and there was one part were they were like "upskirt! upskirt!" honestly, i was gonna turn around and go "Look bastard, we know you're just really despo but please, you don't have to make it THAT obvious." but i was too tired, and decided not to... i wanted to sleep but kept getting woken up...
- then at some point in XY and my convo in the cinema, she was like "I'm so modest" and she made lex agree, and i, being hyper and not really having anything to do in the cinema.. threw nachos at them :DDD hehe, free nachos anyone? And I accidentally threw one in XY's eye... maybe she put her face there :XXX and she was like, really 'insulted'... *hides* lol :PP and the salt went in and i was like "oh shit, *draw halo above head*" lol sorry XY, i had an urge... :PP :XX
- After the movie... errr... what did we do? oh yea neoprints right?? or was that before??? anyway, xy drew some funny stuff like an arrow to lex's face and "DAO IDIOT" heh, i, being so kind, helped cancel out the idiot :PP you should thank me you know HAHAHAHAHAHAH
- we walked around and decided to go to plaza sing. i suggested we walk :PP it wasnt that far anyway....:XX or so to me... and the antisocials finally became social, if you get what i mean... :XXX i mean if it were me and some other random girl i didnt noe i'd at least talk lah... like i did when XY's friend came around... honestly, i was like talking to them then realised, "err who are they?" my god. i'm so blur :XX
- Ohkay so other than that, i also made a "bet" with lexx for ice cream :DDD muahahha i had to act like he did for 5 whole minutes... who said i couldnt? :PP may my middle name be VERSATILE. :PPPPPPPPPPPPP
- at plaza sing, we walked around... went to fox, some other shops etc. and I DO NOT DRESS LIKE A SLUT XY. neither do i dress like a bimbo lex, bimbos dress differently...i think i was dressed in beach style... and not to mention i picked it out like a week before... :PP :XX.
- then we ate at burger king... i sorta borrowed money from lex for food... what can i say, i sorta ran out :XX anyway, to continue tha nacho-fad... i picked up a french fry and threw it at XY :XX... or was it lex... or daniel... arrgh can't rmb, i threw at all of them :XX but dunno why, only XY threw back... lex was being really guai and just sitting there and letting me , XY and daniel steal all his fries... and XY took is UNdrunk coke and drank it HAHAHAHHA... lex, we all owe you hahahaha XY and daniel were like fighting over the box so much they crumpled it... and lex was like, " my poor fries, my poor coke" and i was gonna go ":PP that's what you get when you leave smth in our hands... MUAHAHAHAHHA" LOL how evil and retarded am i... i clearly rmb the fact that i was the err... sickest... heyy i can't help it, i have a errr... deep method of thinking :PP :XX hahahaha
- so after that, they all left for MRT, and i was left ALONE at plaza sing. my god. uber UGHH i was SOO bored... honestly... waiting for my dad to come so i could go over to Carolyn's house for what was left of her birthday party...

we watched bring it on: all or nothing... i got called a bitch, YAY. not... who get's called a bitch for sitting on a couch? WOW, how polite! more like err...oh...kay... lse probs anybody? but again, being spaced out and really tired, i didnt give a damn, at that time, honestly, bite me, like i'd give a f-.
and carolyn then offered hot chocolate and ice cream, how nice... sadly, may i ask why i was the only one who bothered to help my dear friend? sighhh poor carolyn.
after bring it on, we went up to shower, change, etc. and errr... then we went to chope beds, or rather mattresses, my matress got "stolen", sadly, while i was in the bathroom... but being spaced out and really tired, again, i couldn't care less, and then i heard someone bitch about me, i'm not exactly that "stupid" you know, and neither am i deaf. Jealous much???? honestly, dont you have smth better to do?
When i came out... i saw ppl taupok-ing each other... errr.... oh...kay... errr... i just went to share the bottom part of carolyn's mattress, sorry carolyn... i'm didnt really have anywhere else now did i?
anyway, after that, we played err truth or dare? and it started with me, i chose truth... luckily the q. wasnt that bad, "talk about what you did today with your other friends" ... so i talked... honestly, i am boring. :PP deal. you dont have to start bitching about me you know. how sad :PP anyway... then we went round, some started to talk amongst themselves and only me, nikkibutt and alison were left talking... and err... of all things to talk about... the topic was, as in typical slpovers, guys... err... ohkay... then we talked about guys i guess... do note the talking wasnt mostly done by me...... :XX just some minor comments here and there...
anyway... then someone asked who thought they were guy magnets? and i , being really tired and ego... went "ME" hahaha, so wu liao... :XXX
then i finally managed to sleep... while carolyn was gonna start talking about err... ghost stories... ???
then i think i got woken up at like 7... coz my phone alarm went off.. oops :XX Happy Together by Simple plan (!! <3) was blasting and it woke them up... unfrotunately, i, the log, didnt wake up... till they woke me up...

anyway... then i went back to sleep... i cant believe i was to tired i slept till like 10...

anyway... then after we all got changed and everything... they were gonna go to err... where was is... oh yea SICC...
(YAY HAPPY TOGETHER IS PLAYING ON MY ITUNES - HAHA RANDOM!) so anyway, then as i had to go home... and there wouldnt be enough space in carolyn's mom's car anyway, waited for a ca to come... after eating err... breakfast that they offered me... i felt it only kind to finish everything that i could eat... i had no idea how to eat that tomato.... :XX i mean, i dont eat tomatoes... (RANDOM) anyway... after thanking carolyn n her mom, her mom was like, in a joking manner ofcourse, "so you only came her to sleep, hahahaha, etc." i was like... " i suppose......(unsure of what else to say)"
then i took a cab back home... cab fare was around 15 bucks... at least better than the 20 i expected...

Friday, 12th October - Ballet Photo Shoot
so my sisters and i went for a photo shoot for this ballet thing we had coming up... we brought our own make up, etc.
i had to put on full face, sisters - only what was neccesary...we had to wear tubes... and since i didnt have one... they decided to tie a shawl around me... IMO... it was secure and would have made a nice shirt :XX honestly.
anyway, one of the other ballet girls my sister's age (11) ... who is really direct... told me i was pretty... :DDD and then... she asked me whether i had a boyfriend. and then i was like... uhh...errr... errrmmmm... ...*awkward moment* i cant rmb what i replied, HONESTLY!... serious, i cant rmb..
anyway... the photographer kept asking us to smile really big as in "real smiles" as he would call it... i'm really scared i'd come out looking weird...... *crosses fingers*

1 - Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Where: GV Vivocity Gold Class When: Club 21 Preview 13th May Wednesday - i think, or the day before cinerelease

We had free dinner, paid by Club 21, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! and if i may comment on the toilets, though the most odd thing to comment on, they were utterly magnificent and spotless! the sinks were like flat marble tops in a shade of dark green, and the colour combination was totally marvellous! Next, the seats, they had a table and you could order the food in, there were about 2-4 chairs per row per section and there was so much space! the chairs had the ability to erm, how do i say this, like those massage chairs, you can turn them into "mini bed" (a term i made up) and the size of the chairs was huge, like a mini sofa (another term i made up)
Movie:
I totally LOVED el Fan4 sequel, loved the action and the funny parts and the message they were trying to get thru... Johnny was so egotistical tho...
the ending part was so him, dumping the girl like that! HMPH! i wish the girl slapped him. stupid girl. i would have boxed him, kicked him and killed him, not literally but you get what i mean...

MUAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

Various cultures see color differently. In India, blue is associated with Krishna (a very positive association), green with Islam, red with purity (used as a wedding colour) and white with mourning. Colors, especially the natural colors are frequently associated with seasons and geographical cardinal directions, although the specific assignments vary widely among individual cultures.
Studies have shown most colors have more positive than negative associations, and even when a color has negative association, it is normally only when used in a particular context.
People in many cultures have an automatic negative perception of the color black, according to some researchers[1]. Thomas Gilovich and Mark Frank found that sports teams with primarily black uniforms were significantly more likely to receive penalties in historical data. Students were more likely to infer negative traits from a picture of a player wearing a black uniform. They also taped staged football matches, with one team wearing black and another wearing white. Experienced referees were more likely to penalize black-wearing players for nearly identical plays. Finally, groups of students tended to prefer more aggressive sports if wearing black shirts themselves.

Criticism
Most evidence suggests the lack of a single, universal psychological reaction to a particular color. For example, death is symbolized by black in most Western cultures and by white in many Eastern cultures. Even members of the same culture from different age groups can act differently. Referencing colors with emotions is developed by every individual when they feel an emotion and then see a color repeated during this time. After the connection is ingrained, the referencing can go both ways.

Reasons for color association
Black is often seen as the 'color' of death in Western culture. This is likely because when things die the rotting flesh will turn black, and it is also the color of wood after fire has completely consumed it. Black is also the 'color' of the unknown, since darkness hinders vision. The association of white with death in Eastern cultures could come from the white cloth used to enshroud corpses, for example Egyptian mummys, or the stark whiteness of bones and skeletons. Red is often a color representing violence, war, aggression, or passion; this is probably because red is the color of human blood.

Narrator: Once upon a time, in Singapore, there was a Parliament House. And in the Parliament House, sat a monkey called APE. APE is a world-renowned primate professor, and as you already know, this is her documentary, APE, tells you like it is! [carolyn added some more stuff... cant rmb, sry]

APE: I see… interesting… Hey, I went there yesterday! Well, what was the Old Parliament House used for in the past?

Nerd: It was where the Legislative Council assembled; it also served as a storehouse, government offices and Parliament House and was used by the British as Court House.

APE: WOW, I never knew so much about the oh-so famous Art House! What about the Bronze Elephant Statue?

Nerd: It’s considered sacred by the Thais and was a gift from King Chulalongkorn from Siam as a token of appreciation after his stay on 15 March 1871.

MK: MOVING ON… Talk about the NEW Parliament House and HURRY, I’ve got a hair appointment later!

It was relatively small and although it was intended to be fair, it was not really so because the non-official members nominated by the Governor were usually rich and powerful Asians.

Narrator: CHILL! Let’s move on to the Parliament!

Nerd: Sure! People of our own country, Singapore, introduced the Democratically elected Parliament which makes up of the Speaker of Parliament, Prime Minister, Members of Cabinet, Leader of the House, Party Whip and MPs. It ad a max of 99 members and was much fairer than the Legislative Assembly as after every five years, each Parliament was dissolved and a new one was formed.

APE: Uh huh! Oh YEAH!

MK: (stop hand sign) (turns to Nerd) Ehm… you missed out the fact that they had, like, non-official members before 1965, and they have, like, Non-constituency MPs and the Nominated MPs, like, now.

APE: OOOH, COOL… What is a Speaker of Parliament? Leader of the House? Party Whip?

MK: You dolt. (sighs) A Speaker of Parliament oversees the, like, sittings of the House, like, implements the rules of debate and the Standing Order. Members look to him for guidance on, like, procedure.

Narrator: What’s with the “likes”?

MK: What is your, like, problem? I’m trying to explain something over here. (turns back to APE) Anyway, the Leader of the House, like, arranges Government business and the Legislative Programme, he also, like, proposes actions to take on any procedural matters. Finally, the Party Whip, is like a middleman and he, like, ensures good communication within the party and smooth running of the machines and is like a timekeeper… I need evian.

Narrator: Later!

Nerd: Now I’ll conclude. The Parliament, Democratic Legislature, is more beneficial for the country and its people because it is more just and fair, and different views will be given on any matter.

APE: Why?

Narrator: Because APE, if you had been paying attention, the Legislative Assembly’s members were chosen by the Governor. And the members are usually rich or wealthy, and the others stand no chance, but in the Parliament, it is different.

Nerd: Yes, and because everyone is given a fair chance, people from different social backgrounds could be in the Parliament, and having been raised in different environments, they will have different thoughts and opinions. And the government will know the people better.

yester day i went to the ACM Gala Dinner -"Unmissable!"

IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i got there with my parents and my mom's friend, Dr Sharon Mah n her daughter Nikki, we went to see the exhibit "Beauty In Asia" IT WAS SO COOL,but some parts were disgusting man.

we saw the diff types of beauty and perception of beauty... i even saw tatoos n piercings...and feet binding... n the rings around then neck...DISGUSTING.but cool i guess

there was this part that claimed Barbie was the reason behind the illusion of perfection in the minds of many females, because they grew up playing with the perfectly proportional Barbie, who had a perfect life, a perfect body, perfect jobs, perfect fun, perfect clothes, etc.

i guess this

near the end there was a part about what makes life beautiful there were pics with words onthe board n we were supposed to put our tickets into labelled boxes... i wasnt carrying my ticket but i thought the best answer was love.

neway, after that the last part was about spiritual beauty... how they thought tt ppl could be beautiful ifthey werereligious...

so then tt was the end of the exhibition and we went out to the foyer again and met some ppl, took some photos...

after doing those, we were called into the ballroom for dinner, table games,lucky draw n auctions

got over it in like... 1/2 a day...

was real sad in school, 2.4 i took 16min 15s !!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD. HELP ME!

on sat night i went conk out shopping at borders after having b'day dinner with family, got loads of science books... i mean it.

then sunday i missed fellowship sunday coz i had to help out for grading... 360 wasn't there...
lena was there...wei sum (i learnt to spell her name...thot it was wai sam...coz of pronounciation...) was there... some guys from another club were there...
my sis (Xandra) was SO nervous her eyes was ALWAYS (okay mostly) looking AT THE FLOOR!

I MEAN HELLO XANDRA, PLEASE!!! STOP BEING SO SCARED!

Lizi was ook i guess... no need 2 worry bout her...

so neway... monday... i got prezzies from carolyn,colette,liz goh and zhi lin! YAY! i got A CARD FROM CARMEN... ernie said she forgot... zenn said i HAD to REMIND her... ... ... so technically she was reminding me to remind her... rIGht...

Zenn = Present hungry. She gave me, ernie, ka yi, charlotte, en qi, eleanor, rachel lau, shannon, jeru, [(i think) grace and liz goh] slips of paper saying something like z"enn's birthday is ??/??, get her a present!" sorry i don't have the paper now, may not be accurate. *guilty smile* sorry zenn, i didn't commit the date to memory.

but still, ZENN! PRESENT! NOW! (since she asked me to remind her)

so monday night we stayed home and i took all those quizes from blogthings.com. LOL!

Tuesday, TODAY, i woke up at 12pm coz i stayed up late on monday night... then we went for lunch with gong gong, po po at Paragon. Xandra was in her usual grumpy state. Po po got mad at her... but neway, she was also grumpy...
Gong gon gave me $100. i told lizi i got $2 and she was like, "How come I never get?"
I told her that it wasn't her birthday.
HAHAHAHAHA, i mean...$2......imagine if i actually told her $100... ROFL

and so after lunch, an after dropping gong gong po po off at their house, we went to... FORUM!!! CLOTHES SHOPPING MAN! finally, after 4 MONTHS!!!!! i OFFICIALLY go on an OFFICIAL clothes shopping trip!!!
coz last yr i saw in a mag that they were gonna sell L.A.M.B. at TriBeCa, i begged my mom to bring me there, YAY... at first she thought it was too expensive, so we went Twelve21 coz she said she had 10% disc. there,YAY! and the lady, who knew me quite well, was asking us why we haven't been coming for so long...
then my mom brought my 2 sisters down to DKNY while i was trying out a pile of clothes...
she came back up and was like, "ONE OUTFIT! ONE!" coz the stuff there was MORE expensive than TriBeCa, xD!!!
LOL, so I decided to get a Simonetta skirt (VERY NICE) from Twelve21 and a L.A.M.B. Tank + a L.A.M.B. Vest from TriBeCa, then we went to Guess, i got a 1 piece (shirt+shorts) which were WAY cheaper than Twelve21 OR TriBeCa!

all in all we took around 2 h or so CLOTHES SHOPPING!!!!!... no shoes tho :'( they were too ex. and my mom said to wait for the sale. LOL

anyway, i finished reading 3 of my MC(meg cabot) books and he Clique series one (that i "smuggled" into the basket) that i got 2 weeks ago at Kinokuniya.

Boy Meets Girl - I LOVED IT, it was SO GOOD! ... en qi said i shouldn't read it... but it IS my book.
Clique series, It's tough being mean - NICE! FUNNY!... but very bimb tho... they(characters) were like, "Ehmygawd" and "LBR", "LISP", etc. LBR = Loser Beyond Repair, LISP = Little Insignificant Seventh-grade Pee-on.
okay... but the thing is... kids in america, as so portrayed in this book, start DATING at SEVENTH or SIXTH GRADE!!! that's like P5/P6 HERE!!! oh. my. god. 11 YEARS OLD? TOO YOUNG. TOOOOOOOOOO YOUNG
